Introducing my favorite shops in Yokohama Chinatown
I want to eat delicious dim sum and Chinese food in Yokohama Chinatown, but I’m not sure where to go. .
I’m also that type of person, and I have favorited restaurants that I used when I went to Chinatown and found them to be delicious or interesting, so I’d like to introduce them to you.
I hope this will be helpful to those who are having trouble choosing a store.
The shops in Chinatown seemed to be spread out around the square area near the center of the Google Map below.
The streets marked with red lines were especially crowded with shops, and there were many places where you could eat at reasonable prices.
I would like to introduce the shops that caught my attention and the shops that I visited as well as my own memorandum.

“西遊記 Saiyuki” is a dim sum restaurant that can be eaten by just one person
I chose “Journey to the West” as a restaurant where you can enjoy dim sum with a small number of people.
It seems that grilled melon bread is famous.
There are also items available for takeout in front of the store.
The atmosphere inside the store is calm.
Since I was alone, I was careful not to order too much and ordered dim sum.
Was it shrimp crepe? It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten shrimp wrapped in rice flour wrapper, steamed, and topped with sweet soy sauce, so it was delicious.
I would have been happier if I could order from half this amount.
And if the spare ribs is one of my favorite dishes, I always order it.

重慶茶樓 if it is a big group
If you have a large group, how about 重慶茶樓?
The first floor is a souvenir shop and the second floor is a restaurant.
It doesn’t look like Chinese food inside the restaurant, it feels like a normal restaurant.
Ordering is done by scanning a QR code inside the store, which is quite modern.
It is recommended because you can order the amount according to the number of people.
The menu was quite varied and delicious.
This is chive manju.
It is located right between Motomachi-Chukagai Station and Saiyuki.
There is a store called Chongqing Hanten Honten nearby, so don’t make a mistake lol.

If you’re looking for breakfast in Yokohama Chinatown, try “Ma-san’s Store”
There are very few Chinese restaurants in Yokohama Chinatown that serve breakfast.
I was looking for this restaurant because I wanted to eat Chinese breakfast soup.
The porridge was served in a bowl size, so I was pretty full.
It’s perfect for two people to go and share the meal.
This is seafood morning soup.
The crunchy stuff on top is delicious.
There were other Tenshin menus as well.
This was pretty normal.
However, there were a lot of customers coming in from the morning, so it might be a pretty popular store.
萬珍樓 本店
This is a store I’ve never been to, so it’s just for reference.
I had a hard time choosing this restaurant between ”西遊記”.

As it looks like it’s high class, the unit price is a little high.
There is also a souvenir corner once, so you can buy some of the shop’s flavors to take home.
There are numbered tickets inside the store, and I once entered the store and pulled out a numbered ticket, but the wait was over 30 minutes, so I gave up.
The course was ordered by two people, so it might have been difficult even if you went alone.
If you use it for entertainment or special celebrations, you will be able to eat delicious food and make memories.

福臨閣
Hong Kong dim sum course is 1800 yen for 10 dishes.
I feel a little sad that there’s only one Tenshin (there’s also a comment on Google saying there aren’t many), but I’m not very good at writing in Hong Kong dim sum.
I want to try it at least once.
It’s open until midnight, so it might be a good place to finish off your meal with dim sum.

北京烤鴨店 民福
Peking duck is lined up in front of the store.
It might be good when you want to eat Peking duck to your heart’s content.
It seems to be a chain store with stores outside of Chinatown.
Apparently there are course meals as well.
It is located along the street marked in red on the map.
This street seemed to be quite cheap and had a variety of shops.
